The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation, through Red.es, an entity dependent on the Secretary of State for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence, has launched the Acelera program SME with the objective of promoting the digitization of the self-employed and national SMEs. This project is part of the 2021-2025 SMEs Digitization Plan, which has a global budget of more than €4 billion.
Who is the Acelera Pyme Digital Kit for?
In a first phase, the call is made to the freelancers and SMEs with up to 49 employees interested in enhancing their digitization. SMEs that follow the marked application process will get a digital voucher worth up to € 12,000 to invest in digital solutions of different types that cover their main needs.
What type of solutions are eligible for the Digital Acceleration Pyme Kit?
Whether you are starting your digital transformation process or, on the contrary, you are already in a mature moment in which you are already clear on how you can use technology to get the most out of your business, here are some of the improvement options for which you can use your grant:
- Presence on the internet and website. The creation of a web page and / or the provision of services to give visibility to it on the main Internet sites would fall into this category.
- E-commerce. Here we would find, for example, the creation of an online store for the sale of products and / or services that uses digital media for their exchange.
- Social media management. The services of creation and dynamization of Social Media channels for the promotion of SMEs would be referred to in this category.
- Management of clients and / or suppliers. Here those actions that aim to digitize and optimize the management of business relationships with customers would be framed.
- Business Intelligence and analytics. Any data exploitation service of the company would enter here for the improvement of the decision-making process.
- Virtual office tools and services. The implementation of interactive and functional solutions that allow more efficient collaboration between SME workers is one of the eligible points reflected in the program.
- Process management. In this category we would find the services related to the digitization and / or automation of business processes related to the operational or productive aspects of the SME.
- Electronic bill. Those SMEs interested in digitizing the flow of invoice issuance between the company and its customers will have to opt for this option.
- Secure communications. There is also room for solutions to provide SMEs with security in the connections between their employees' devices and the company.
- Cybersecurity. We would find in this last category solutions and services that are aimed at providing SMEs with basic and advanced security for their employees' devices.
SMEs interested in applying for these funds can now make their request through the website www.acelerapyme.es. From the web platform itself, they must register for the company and complete the digital maturity self-diagnosis test. Once this is done, they must wait for the confirmation of the awarding of their Digital Kit voucher by RedES and, with this, they will be able to select the solution to be developed and the digitizing agent that will carry it out.
Conclusion:
- The Digital Kit voucher will not cover the VAT amount of the share, which will be borne by the beneficiary.
- The amount of the digitization service provided will be paid by RedEs to the Digitizer Agent directly.
